Iga Dziarnowska

Body Oriented Psychotherapy & Gestalt Psychotherapy

About

I am a Gestalt psychotherapist in the final year of a 4.5-year comprehensive trainingprogram (at WSPG, Poland) with a background in Physiotherapy (MSc). In my practice,I combine relational Gestalt therapy with body-oriented awareness.

Having lived and worked abroad for 12 years (in France, Denmark, Switzerland, andBelgium) and being in a long-term intercultural relationship, I deeply understand theexpat experience. I know firsthand the subtle challenges of navigating a new culture, facing displacement or loneliness, and rebuilding a sense of home and identity far awayfrom one's native country.

Specialties

● Expat & Relocation Challenges: Culture shock, identity crises, feeling
disconnected or adjusting to life in a new country.
● Stress & Psychosomatic Symptoms: Chronic physical tension, fatigue,
migraines, and emotional stress manifesting in the body.
● Anxiety & Burnout: Overwhelm, persistent worry, life transitions, and loss of
direction.
● Relational & Emotional Struggles: Reconnecting with suppressed emotions,
setting healthy boundaries, and understanding relationship patterns.

How I work

In Gestalt therapy, our focus is on the present moment – what you feel and experience
right here and now. I view therapy as an equal, non-judgmental partnership built on
authenticity and safety. Beyond traditional talk therapy, I incorporate bodywork
(releasing stored physical tension), dreamwork, metaphors, and psychodrama when
words are not enough.
